[Rei is sitting on the floor, her knees to her chest. Her back is pressed against an invisible wall -- a chamber, of sorts, made out of energy. She is perfectly still, breathing slow and even, her eyes fixated on whatever is in front of her.
The feed continues this way for five minutes, then ten -- and still, Rei does not move, save for her fingers moving in tiny intricate designs upon her legs. She doesn't even blink. Her expression is completely blank and neutral, devoid of emotion.
Finally, the priestess speaks, and her tone is perfectly even. She does not look at the camera.]
I know what you did. I saw it. You can hide as long as you want, but I'll find out. I'm not going to stop looking until I know the truth. He deserves more dignity than what you gave him.
[She is silent for a moment or two more before she inhales deeply.]
I need to speak to Sam and Dean Winchester. And Raven. In person.
[Another pause.]
...I'm fine now.
[Four hours of solid meditation works wonder for the anger of hellfire.]

He hit the wall from a distance, in the vision. Someone threw him or knocked him into it. It broke his neck.
[She sounds sickened.]
It had to be someone with that amount of strength. He isn't a light person to throw around.
[offline]
It also had to be someone with a motive. It wouldn't have to be someone who would normally do the deed, just someone with motive to do so.
With whom does Castiel communicate regularly?
[offline]
[She sounds irritated, at the last.]
[offline]
[Hitsugaya doesn't know Botan. And that last one. Well. That's just that that's that bias he hadn't wanted to state outright.]
[offline]
[She sounds vaguely guilty as she says it, but it's the truth.]
... but I don't think it's her, no.
[Her intuition says otherwise.]
[offline] I have no idea what I was typing up there.
[offline] ... lmao look I didn't even notice anything so it's fine.
[offline] ...I choose to take that as a compliment.
[Can you see her physically throwing Castiel? Well. Realistically. Hitsugaya can indeed imagine it, however unlikely, and is keeping that mental image close at heart.]
[offline] YOU SHOULD. It is a -- good one? 8|
[Rei purses her lips together into a thin line.]
... there's no love lost between his siblings -- or most of them anyway.
[Raphael, in particular. And, suddenly, Rei sits up a little straighter, brow furrowing in thought. Raphael -- knew that Castiel was dead, but Gabriel did not. Not surprising -- they leave Gabriel out of practically everything, it seemed like, but --
... no. She wouldn't actually kill Castiel. There was no point. Especially with the family working together as well as it had been.
-- would she?
It made a horrific amount of sense.]
... he'll be back soon.
[It's said distractedly, mostly to herself.]
Hopefully he saw something.
[offline] I... don't know.
[He can tell Hino is thinking of someone in particular. The fact that she doesn't say so tells him she's not sure though. That's all he needs for now.]
[offline] /loves on
[A confrontation. It made sense. Raphael and Castiel hated each other. And the both of them, affected by whatever had happened? Instant fireworks.
There's the tiniest flash of anger in her eyes. If she were right, and Raphael was the one who killed Castiel, then -- how dare she play stupid with her?
Knowing the truth will get you nothing.
... dammit.]

[She wraps her arms around her knees, resting her chin on top of them, suddenly... tired.]
Probably.
[And then Rei will proceed to do nothing about it. What could she do? Revenge was pointless. Revenge against Raphael, if that was who it was, was suicide. Not that Castiel would allow her anywhere near Raphael with the intent of harming the archangel -- nor would Hitsugaya or Usagi or any of her friends.
It would just pass. As they always passed. And she would have to accept it.
She looked incredibly disheartened.]

So he has to say something. The first thing that crosses his mind.]
You should eat something.
[offline]
But at Hitsugaya's remark, she looks up, puzzled. She should eat something? -- she had skipped a meal or two in the box, but nothing to be concerned over. It wasn't as if Hitsugaya would allow her to starve. So why --
... and suddenly, a split-second of understanding, before Rei snorts to herself, stretching out her legs.]
So make me dinner.
[offline]
[Whaaaaaat?]
That's not what I meant!
[offline]
[Logiclogiclogic.]

...
...
[His brow twitches as he closes his eyes, teeth clenched. She's making fun of him. He knows it. But after all the crap that's happened, he does his best to cool his frustration. If it'll help...]
Do you... mind chicken and rice?
[offline]
That's fine.

[Hinamori and Sasuke have already seen him cooking outside of events.]

Deal.
