[Rei is sitting on the floor, her knees to her chest. Her back is pressed against an invisible wall -- a chamber, of sorts, made out of energy. She is perfectly still, breathing slow and even, her eyes fixated on whatever is in front of her.

The feed continues this way for five minutes, then ten -- and still, Rei does not move, save for her fingers moving in tiny intricate designs upon her legs. She doesn't even blink. Her expression is completely blank and neutral, devoid of emotion.

Finally, the priestess speaks, and her tone is perfectly even. She does not look at the camera.]

I know what you did. I saw it. You can hide as long as you want, but I'll find out. I'm not going to stop looking until I know the truth. He deserves more dignity than what you gave him.

[She is silent for a moment or two more before she inhales deeply.]

I need to speak to Sam and Dean Winchester. And Raven. In person.

[Another pause.]

[Ordinarily, she would toss him a flat look. Instead, she shifts to actually look at the camera, uncertain.

Then, it hits her -- he doesn't know. There was no other explanation for his nonchalance.

Her fingers curl into the edge of her pants abruptly, knuckles white.]

A coward who hides the body and doesn't confess to killing someone who couldn't defend himself without his Grace.

[Ah -- there's the anger, punctuating with a hiss.]

So go ahead and spread the word to the victim.

[Abruptly calm and centered again. Though she is speaking around her clenched teeth.]

[She's been worried. Worried about Rei acting that way (worried about everyone acting that way), worried that Rei will be angry, worried that someone else will get hurt, too.]

[It's pointless to say yes. She obviously isn't fine. She's humiliated and heartbroken. But she isn't homicidal. Which she supposes is something.]

That's not what I meant! [Well, mostly. She did think it for a second. But mostly she's worried about Rei.]

[It's almost mechanic.]

[She has to force herself into saying it. Ignoring what happened -- that won't spark another incident.]

[He sighs from his spot a short distance away.]
