Guys?

[Rei sounds worried -- which is rare, for her. And, surprisingly, this is not about the fact that she still does not have access to her powers. Though she did throw something of a personal fit to herself when they did not come back.]

I haven't seen Youma in three or four hours and he usually comes in by now. Let me know if you see him so I can come get him. He usually doesn't wander far, but...

He looks like this.

Like I said, let me know.

ooc; Yeah, yeah, I spam too much, BUT. This was too fun to pass up. 8) WE NEED SOME HURR UP IN THIS DERP. Youma is not actually missing. A stupid mortal angel decided to borrow him. 8| But have some fun poking around and feel free to find other cats and other generally silly things to make up for it. Rei will find Youma in a couple of hours and let everyone know in that hand-wave-y kind of way, but until then, the stupid cat is missing.

[The feed is dark, at first -- there is only the sound of the constant pounding rain against the walls of wherever Rei is -- until her face is illuminated by the flickering of candlelight. She exhales slowly in relief as she looks around the room.

Those that have been inside the Temple of Heaven may recognize it as the area that Rei has converted into her fire-reading room. Rain is pounding relentlessly against the window as she sets the candle on top of her altar, scowling almost petulantly at the window.]

Of all of the events... they have to pick one where I can't do anything.

[She crosses to the window to look outside -- the PCD shows the yard of the Temple of Heaven, which is now a swimming pool. Her fingers tighten slightly around the device and Rei exhales slowly once more -- she's nervous. Jumpy, even.

But Rei doesn't exactly have time to dwell upon the fact that Adstringendum is going to become a world-class YMCA -- because the storm suddenly swells and lightning cracks. Rei instinctively moves away from the window, wide-eyed at the display --

Before a tree branch crashes directly through the window.

The yelp is undignified, but totally necessary, as Rei abruptly shoots to her right, to miss getting hit in the face with branch, but the constant rain now has no barrier in between the outside world and her homemade shrine.

She stares for a long moment before she grinds her teeth together into a vicious:]

Damn it!

[And the PCD hits the altar as Rei tosses it aside to tug the branch through the window. The feed cuts off after that.]
flameandpassion: (Rei: Didn't see that one coming.)

[Rei is sitting on her bed, cross-legged, counting days on a makeshift calendar that is on the wall. Her cat, Youma, is in her lap, almost protectively -- the cat seems to know his master has had a rough couple of days.

But Rei doesn't seem all that upset -- or tired, really. Instead, she looks almost pleased as her finger lands on a date on the calendar -- April 17th.]

It's hard to think I've been here so long... I'll be sixteen on Sunday.

[She scratches the cat behind the ears as she frowns at the calendar. She seems to have marked it with different colors and notes and there is a red mark on the week of the seventeenth. A matching red mark is scratched across the week before last -- ]

I hope it isn't too bad. Maybe instead of a jungle, we'll get a desert... I should do a reading tonight, just to make sure. Sound like a plan?

[Youma's response is a toothy yawn -- the PCD flickers out soon afterwards.]

Now that we're all better acquainted --

Does anyone have anything for a headache?

[No, she isn't particularly happy that people went inside her head, because after a week of her subconscious being prodded at, she feels like she wants to hit her head against the wall. Repeatedly.

No, she really isn't happy that Lucifer and Rhode decided to take five people for a joyride for a stupid ritual that was doomed to fail anyway.

She's spectacularly not happy that Rhode is dead because of it, because now half of Adstringendum is danger.

Also, no, she does not sound like she has a cold, shut up.]
