[Rei, like so many others, looks mildly disorientated -- after all, she isn't within the Temple of Heaven, but is in a new house entirely. She's sitting on the floor, legs crossed, frowning to herself as she places the events of the week.

She was with Ulquiorra. And she and Hitsugaya -- but then Szayel --

The priestess presses a few fingers to her forehead with a tired sigh, muttering to herself in annoyance.

Until something hits her and she immediately launches for the PCD, not noticing the red light until she has already switched the filter.]

[It makes her feel oddly useless, that the two of the most important people in her life insist that they don't want to see her. Hitsugaya is going to suffer her presence anyway, because Rei knows exactly how far to toe the line with him, but with Cloud? When he's upset? When he doesn't remember 95% of their time together?

Toeing the line could cause disastrous results.

She looks hurt, but quickly masks it with a nod and a quick aversion of her eyes, to break eye contact.]

Yeah.

[He's not upset, Rei. He's beyond the realm of upset. And not just with you, but with this entire place. For a week, made to think he had a father, the one thing he never had growing up. An actual father who stood by his side and raised his children. He didn't have to go through every day wondering what he had forgotten, because in the end it didn't matter.

Now it does. And now he gets to wonder what his girlfriend was out there doing while both of them were being toyed with by the Animus.]
