Hotaru is gone.

[Her voice is monotone.

Two senshi in as many weeks. Plus a slew of other absences. On top of everything else that has happened. Rei is dangerously close to snapping, but she manages it well.

It's really just the icing on the cake.]

That Aya woman is from our world. I know she is. But I don't remember who or why... We should keep an eye on her.

I'll get the tea cups.

[She comes downstairs without another word, depositing her PCD on the table. She looks better -- her cold is all but gone and she's moving with something of a purpose now, but her eyes look tired.]

[There are tea cups set out like she said but also everything else to make tea with. Two white rabbit ears are sticking up from her pink hair and there's a matching white fluffball of a tail. She doesn't look tired though there is a hint of sadness on her face. Still she can't help but worry more for her friend.]

What kind of tea would you like?

Whatever is there.

[Rei, mercifully, escaped this event -- but she quirks a tiny smile at Chibiusa's rabbit ears and tail.

Figures.]

[Chibi-Usa just randomly picks one to start making since it doesn't matter to her as she likes them all. The unchanged Rei doesn't go unnoticed.]

Why didn't you get animal ears? You would have looked good as a black jaguar.

I guess the Animus decided to leave me alone this time around, but I like your eyes. You match Usagi.

I want to keep them forever, they're really great. [Of course it's only because they're rabbit appendages. Anything else wouldn't be as good.] Do the Animus usually leave a few people alone?

Sometimes, but there isn't really a pattern on who they leave alone. It's usually random.

[Now that the tea's done she brings over the two cups, offering one to Rei.]

I wonder why they even do it in the first place.

[She takes it and sits down in a chair, pulling one out for the little girl whens he does so.]

Hrmm... we've thought a lot about it, since we've been here. No one really knows for sure, but there's a lot of ideas about it.

[She easily slides into the offered chair.] You're welcome, Rei-chan.

Thinking about it doesn't do much unless you have a way to look into it.

The Animus block my visions whenever I try to look into what they do and how they do it.

They sound kind of childish to me. Selfish children who collect people to play with and don't like it when they don't do what they want. [She would know seeing as how she often has the mentality of a child.] Too bad we can just send them to their room.

[She laughs a little.]

I think this entire place is their room... but I think you're right, too. They get bored and bring people here to entertain themselves.

Then we'd just have to send them to the corner. [Even if they can't actually it's kind of nice to think about it. She sips her tea.] Someone should have raised them better.

Like Usagi?

[You can be a bit of a brat, Chibiusa.]

Maybe more like Mamo-chan.

[Because she knows that she gets that brattiness from Usagi.]

I don't know, I think Mamoru spoiled you.

Then maybe Michiru-san?

[Even she can't deny that he spoiled her.]

She would definitely put them into shape.

They'd never act up again and be able to start an orchestra once she taught them all.

Don't forget painting and gardening and every other thing she can do.

[Rei isn't sure if Michiru can garden, but hey, she can do everything else. SO OBVIOUSLY.]

Then they'd never be bored with all the things they'd learn how to do.

[Why Michiru can probably even design buildings and hire people to build them. She's just all-talented like that.]

And then maybe they'd leave us alone.

This would be a great plan if we ever get near them.
