[There's nothing she can say to that. She should say things like 'but a part of him will' or 'but you remember and that's how you keep him close'.

But saying those things has gotten her yelled at and hurt, more than once, lately, even if not by Rei. And the truth is, the words just aren't there right now. She changes the subject slightly instead.]
