I guess now you're gonna stay in Adstring until the week is over now? [A pause.] I was hoping Lucifer would go in Veles to investigate that "Gate" they have there, but he probably won't go himself. Especially if he can suspects that angelic powers are dampened there. [And another opportunity to get rid of the Devil flies right through the window.]

I will, yes, unless otherwise necessary. [He really doesn't want even the slightest chance of a repeat of that ordeal. But if Dean went, he'd follow.] Actually, Lucifer is going. I believe Michael left for the city some time ago and hasn't returned, and Lucifer is going to look for him.

[She briefly considers taking the opportunity that his powers will be dampened and that he can't sense her anymore to try and find him, bring him down and leave him locked up somewhere in Veles to bleed to death. But she won't kill the Grace, only the vessel and it's probably not such a good idea...] Any chance he might get infected the way you did?

[He had an idea of what she was thinking, because he'd thought it himself, but it wouldn't work. When powerless there were odd effects when it came to their vessels, and in Castiel's case at least he'd been somewhat merged with it; if the body had died from the infection, the angel part would have as well. If that were the case for Lucifer, Lucifer the angel would have simply been eventually resurrected by the Animus, possibly even with his vessel. That'd serve no purpose.]

It's unlikely. I warned him of the situation; as entertaining and satisfying as it might be to let him suffer through the illness and become a zombie, it would lead to be a poor result in the end. [Like a zombie angel, and then an angry resurrected Lucifer.]

I'd have made sure to behead him before he could cause any harm. Besides, even if he ended up dying and the Animus brought him back next week, he'd come back without something. [And this sounds really tempting.]

Something potentially inconsequential, and dealing with his anger is not worth it.

[He's being a little short because he's tired, not because he's annoyed; he really does wish it would have been a viable option.]

I know you're right. But you can't really blame me for wishing it could work. I barely had a month of reprieve before he was brought here.
