Hello, everyone!

In two days, Tanabata begins, and we're going to have a festival in honor of it! I want everyone -- and I mean everyone, so Cas, Ulquiorra, Toushirou, you have to come, too -- everyone has to show up in their best clothes -- yukatas if you can manage to find or make them in time -- at 7:00 PM at [x,y]. Bring some food and drinks and entertainment -- we can all pitch in to have a fun summer gathering for once.

[Here, her smile becomes a little less energetic and a little softer.]

Everybody needs a chance to relax.

[But then, Rei is back to her brisk self.]

I'm also going to be doing fortune telling at the event again -- like at the Halloween party last year! So if you want to get your fortune told, you can come find me!

Socializing is useful. Making friends and allies in this city is one of the most important things you can do.

Doing so publicly seems counterproductive to most of my goals.

Hiding away and not talking to anyone is counterproductive to people not thinking you're up to something.

I have little faith in your ability to tell fortunes. The last time you told mine, I distinctly remember you saying that I would be safe and then I was nearly killed four days later.

I told you, it changed as soon as she showed up -- and I didn't really have a chance to warn you because you decided to be dumb and talk to her instead of keeping your mouth shut. That's not my fault.

If they can change so easily how can you believe them to be reliable?

If you do burn them out, at least it's likely possible for one of us to regenerate them for you.

They usually don't change. Raphael's arrival disrupted your timeline. The vision changed when she got here. At home, I'm never wrong -- but time here is more fluid.

The Animus are in control, not nature or fate.

In my world, even the timeline is no longer stable. Past events could be changed, resulting in the changing of the future, whereas before it was impossible to do so. Nothing is set in stone there anymore, if it ever was.
