[Rei sounds worried -- which is rare, for her. And, surprisingly, this is not about the fact that she still does not have access to her powers. Though she did throw something of a personal fit to herself when they did not come back.]

I haven't seen Youma in three or four hours and he usually comes in by now. Let me know if you see him so I can come get him. He usually doesn't wander far, but...

ooc; Yeah, yeah, I spam too much, BUT. This was too fun to pass up. 8) WE NEED SOME HURR UP IN THIS DERP. Youma is not actually missing. A stupid mortal angel decided to borrow him. 8| But have some fun poking around and feel free to find other cats and other generally silly things to make up for it. Rei will find Youma in a couple of hours and let everyone know in that hand-wave-y kind of way, but until then, the stupid cat is missing.

That and the cat usually follows me around and him being missing for this long is weird.

[She doesn't give a crap about the cat. He's only been missing a few hours and he's a dumb animal. But it's how Rei says "someone important to me gave him to me." That's what gets her.

There's another, louder groan and some rustling sounds on the other end of the PCD.]

Fine. I'll come help.

... what, seriously?

[She's genuinely surprised. 8|]

If it'll get you to shut up. God, I swear I can't go a day without hearing your obnoxious voice on this damn thing.

[That's the sound of her shoes clopping around the chateau.]

-- my cat ran away, for crying out loud, it's not like I asked for your help.

And here I was going to tell Entertainment Weekly.

[Can you hear that eye roll?]

I'll be there in, like, fifteen minutes.

[Jinx hangs up, and around fifteen minutes later she ends up outside the Temple. She looks fairly overwhelmed by it, too.]

[Rei is at her side relatively quickly, to look up at the Temple, arms folded. She's wearing normal clothes today. 8|]

It reminded me of my shrine.

[Meanwhile, Jinx is wearing something skin tight and barely appropriate for the weather. You still totally look weird, Rei.]

You can't find things like this in California. [She glances over to the other girl.] You actually live here?

Well -- this is the Temple of Heaven. It's supposed to be in China, but the Animus brought it here years ago. Or, at least, the main part of it.

[Rei slides her hands into her pockets.]

It was empty and it has running water. And, when we first moved here, we had... oh. [Rei tilts her head to think.] Seven of us, from my world. We needed a huge building.

It's kind of empty now.

[Jinx scuffs her shoe against the ground.]

Is it just you and the trenchcoat living here now?

The trenchcoat has a name, you know.

It's me, Cas, Usagi, and Haruka. And Hanna, but she just needed a place to stay when she arrived.

[She rolls her eyes. Castiel is an idiot.]

They all helping you look for your damn cat?

Usagi is. Haruka isn't.

[Somewhat stiffly. Haruka crossed a line with her. They are currently in something of a tiff.]

And I haven't seen Cas all day. I think he went to visit Gabriel.

[But the dismissive attitude is pretty easy to see through -- Rei is seriously worried about the dumb cat. Even if it is just a dumb cat. Because Cloud gave her that dumb cat.]

I didn't see him over at our place. [She shrugs.] It's big, though. I've been trying to avoid the God squad.

[With a groan, she starts walking toward the Temple.]

-- you didn't?

[Well, that's... worrying. But, hey, Castiel can take care of himself, right?

... Rei cringes to herself. No. He really can't. But she quells that worry -- he's probably around somewhere and if he needed help, he would call her. Besides, she had called to help look for the cat. Find Youma first -- Cas will turn up.

Rei is close behind Jinx, to open the massive doors.]

And you're getting sick of them? Can't imagine why.

[Before Rei touches the doors, Jinx snaps, expecting them to open for her. It takes her a split second to remember that's not working right now and she stops, staring down at her hand as though it's betrayed her.

Sighing, she shakes it off.]

They're babies. I'm amazed they've lived this long. Hostess is learning he has to eat real food, Rolanda is just angry, Michael's acting like a suddenly destitute movie star, and Lucifer walks around the house naked and refuses to sleep.

[She's silent, for a long moment, as she digests that.]

...Yeah, and everyone makes fun of me for taking in the idiot in the trenchcoat, I feel so unlucky.

I'd come stay with you if I could be sure one of them wouldn't die while I was gone.

I can't believe I found something worse than my little brothers.
