[Rei sounds worried -- which is rare, for her. And, surprisingly, this is not about the fact that she still does not have access to her powers. Though she did throw something of a personal fit to herself when they did not come back.]
I haven't seen Youma in three or four hours and he usually comes in by now. Let me know if you see him so I can come get him. He usually doesn't wander far, but...

ooc; Yeah, yeah, I spam too much, BUT. This was too fun to pass up. 8) WE NEED SOME HURR UP IN THIS DERP. Youma is not actually missing. A stupid mortal angel decided to borrow him. 8| But have some fun poking around and feel free to find other cats and other generally silly things to make up for it. Rei will find Youma in a couple of hours and let everyone know in that hand-wave-y kind of way, but until then, the stupid cat is missing.

[Hrm. Rei looks curious, but her worry for the stupid cat outweighs any questions she may have had.]
This is such a big to-do over a dumb cat -- but I'd really appreciate any help you could give.

[He's moving now, though, the screen bouncing as he walks tot he middle of a nearby street, glancing around quickly before making his way to a nearby bush, crouching down and extending a hand, crooking his fingers towards him with a little mrrrw sound rumbling in his throat.
Soon enough, a cat joins him, and he sits down cross-legged, setting the PCD down to reach out and pet the slightly skittish, ever curious cat. A multitude of other sounds escape him, all feline in origin and, believe it or not, the cat's actually meowing in response.]
.... Oh. Well. [He clears his throat and reaches for the PCD then, looking a bit cross as his face comes back into view.] Human minds. So horrible at comprehending things. I can speak the language fine, its the understanding it that isn't quite filtering through.
I'm afraid I won't be much help after all.

[It's said absently as Rei watches the Doctor curiously, half-convinced the man is just insane, half-convinced that he's actually telling the truth. When the cat begins meowing in response, Rei arches her eyebrows, impressed.]
... well, it's the thought that counts, I -- guess.
[Pause.]
... you aren't joking, though, you can seriously talk to cats when you have your normal -- uh, abilities? Or... body.

[He's scratching the cat behind the ears for a moment before patting it's shoulder, prompting it to slink back off into the bush he'd coaxed it from.] I speak everything. I simply don't have the vocal chords and the brain speed to do so right now.

[Rei taps the side of the PCD -- the filter hasn't escaped her notice.]

No, definitely not a spa. But I like it when they're long because there's nothing to do. It's when they're long because of other reasons that I get a headache.
