69 [Accidental Video] Forwarded to early morning.
[The PCD turns on by landing on the soft wet ground with a 'thunk'. All you see is grey skies and the distant sunrise -- and a pair of hands picking up the device with a soft huff of annoyance.]
The last thing I need is this stupid thing getting broken...
[Oh, hello, Adstringendum. Hino Rei has landed. And she looks unharmed, for the most part, save for a cut on her hand and looking somewhat tired. But what else is new, really? Sleeping isn't exactly easy to do in this place.
She purses her lips as she dusts mud off of the screen, a thumb running over the camera, which shuts it off.]

[Or he's saying so, anyway. Not like either of them could really tell otherwise, right?]

[Rei frowns to herself, but keeps walking, intending on leaving the Tower. She has not turned once to see if Castiel is following her.]
You can't do things like that whenever something bad happens.

[He is, indeed, following after her.]
It caused me no harm. Why can't I?

Don't take people for granted here. We have healers now, but we might not have them tomorrow, and in case you haven't noticed, that's the only body you've got. You can't heal yourself anymore and don't expect other people to be able to do it for you, because right now? We don't have any healers and if you decide to do something stupid, you are screwed.
[She huffs before crossing her arms.]
Alcohol is a poison. Don't drink it. It controls you, not the other way around, and it's a stupid thing to do.

The worst that would happen would be that I die.
[And though he's not interested in doing so, he's interested in winning the argument, and that's a valid point. As for her second one, has also has a counter.]
Hunters in my world drink often and still manage capably. Dean drinks throughout the day, sometimes.

[It's said in a short series of clipped sentences, each sentence punctuated with venom as Rei continues. Death is not a joke here. It is not something to be taken lightly. The price runs far too high to ever think of it as a cushion for being reckless.]
And if you really want to do all of that, to go back to your world, to deal with the consequences of whatever future you're destroying, you need to do a hell of a lot more than manage. You need to rise above it.
I'd start with dealing with your issues and stop with using the Animus and alcohol as a crutch.

That sense of being trapped comes back, and it's so heavy and pressing, but he pushes it back. She's right; he needed to do something useful, but the drinking let him forget about all the things that threatened to crush him, just for a little while. It would, literally, drive him insane if he has to deal with it all constantly, every day.]
I don't know how. [There's a pause for a moment, before another admission.] I'm not certain I can.

...The only way you can cope with the bad is to find the light in the good and fixate on that and work towards keeping it alive as long as you can. There's going to be days where it goes out, but you can always fight to light it again. Never give up and never accept weakness instead of moving forward on your own strength.
[Rei shrugs to herself before her lips twitch into something that could almost be a smile.]
That's what I do, anyway, and I'm just some kid. You're an angel. I'm pretty sure you can figure it out.

But she's intent on this, and the least he can do is try. He knows, distantly, that he's already come a long way from the complete hopelessness of the night of Tanabata; it's not impossible, maybe, to continue to do so.]
I'll try, then.

[She's being completely and utterly genuine, though there is the slightest hint of teasing in her tone, before Rei jerks her head towards the hallway -- and the exit.]
C'mon. Let's go home. You can fill me in on what I've missed on the way.
