Rei is a shinto priestess with the rare gift of 1) sensing spirits and 2) sensing darkness/evil energy. She also has a powerful sense of intuition (which means she can usually tell when someone is lying and has a "gut feeling" about most people she meets, be it good or bad) and can see the future! What a broken piece of garbage, right.

So basically, what I need you to do is to comment below!

1) Is your character a spirit? This could count as a shinigami, some sort of spiritual being... whatever. If so, Rei can probably vaguely sense your character, and get a read on their energy!

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Rei has the ability to sense massive amounts of energy, and the darker it is, the sharper she can sense it. For example, if you are Satan (you think I'm joking, but I am not), Rei can probably feel you coming from a mile away.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Be honest! Rei can't shut off her powers, but I'm flexible as to what she can sense and what she can't. Her powers are vaguely defined in canon, and you never know what can get messed up in the multiverse! We can always plot out something. :)

1) Is your character a spirit? No. Vampires in TVD are distinct beings who (hilariously enough) can't see and/or feel ghosts. [If she can sense death, then she would be able to tell that Stefan's died more than a couple of times, but he's no ghost.]

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Maybe. Stefan's aura is typically neutral, but when he loses his humanity [ie, becomes his angsty Ripper personality], he leans heavily towards the dark side.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Yep! It would be super funny considering that this vampire is also super mega religious.

1) Is your character a spirit? If we're getting entirely technical, she may be some sort of accidental lich. Her soul is shattered, missing about half the pieces, and generally a mess. However, she does have a perfectly functional normal physical body.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? See above. Her spiritual senses are more for magic, which she can see fine, and she's got a hella strong MP pool, but her magic will ping as distinctly neutral until she starts casting. Lots of MP, lots of power, but no associated elements or darkness pings.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Absolutely!

1) Is your character a spirit? Coil isn't a spirit, but he is a necromancer, and is also carrying around a chunk of a super-powerful necromancer's soul in his body. So don't know know how/if either of those facts might read?

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Probably. Coil is a magic-user, his powers are faith-based, and his necromancy magic is BAD STUFF. It's one of those nasty, corrupted sorts of magic that feels completely wrong to the natural world, whichever way you look at it.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Hell yes. People finding out what a creep Coil really is, is fun stuff.

1) Is your character a spirit? Crowley's a demon so he very likely qualifies here!

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Oh hells yes. Very old middling power as demons go (but my human standards a complete godmod)

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? That's fine with all my characters! (Crowley, Sokka, Cheese and Fenris). Fenris is the only one likely to kick a fuss up about it.

1) Is your character a spirit? Dragons in Tek's world are technically classified as spiritual beings, even though they have a mostly flesh-and-blood body. They're basically their world's equivalent of earthbound angels.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Dragons' auras tend to be huge and glowy to those who can sense them anyway, and Tek in particular tends to not bother keeping his aura as in-check and hidden as he should. As for what 'flavors' of energy she might pick up from him, dragons are basically fonts of elemental energy, and his element is death. Though, aside from the fact that death tends to feel kind of alarming to living creatures, dragons' brand of death energy is the natural sort. They are made of natural worldstuff, so he feels more like a graveyard or a battlefield would than something like zombies or ghosts. If that makes any sense. However, he is evil-aligned, choosing to break away from the rules he was created to follow, and defy the will of Fate. So... he's basically a demon, to where most dragons are angels. If that makes any sense.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Absolutely! And sorry if this description makes no sense. I can totally elaborate or clarify where needed.

1) Is your character a spirit? He's a homunculus containing about a thousand souls inside of him.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Going hand in hand with that, Greed's presence is enormous. For those who can sense spiritual energy, it's a very uncomfortable and sickening chi to have to be around. That is because it's not just all these souls crammed into one vessel, but because they are all in a state of constant anguish having lost any shred of thought or humanity after being torn away from their bodies centuries ago. It's not pretty at all.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? I'm fine with it. Also to go with her other powers - she won't pick up on Greed lying, because he never actually does. The fact that Greed and Ling are both in one person, it would make it pretty hard to get a good reading on whether their combined person is good or bad.

Both Nami and Katie are regular ol humans. This one's for Katie!

1) Is your character a spirit? Mrrr Katie has two souls. I don't know if that would ping Rei or not, so I'll leave that up to you.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? She's a bundle of magic stuffed into a human shell, so there is that. But it's mostly bright and wild kind of magic, think glittery rainbow tornados or something equally weird and chaotic? Lucifer did put a glyph on her forearm bone when they were in Adstring which lets him find her and hides her from hellbeasts, so I guess a tiny spot of dark af magical energy there.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? ~~What meet in person like they'd ever do that~~ Sure thing!

1) Is your character a spirit? No. Thankfully.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Sasuke has a huge wealth of chakra and it's described as being very cold and dark as his development goes on. She should definitely be able to notice that difference because he went from bad to worse so fast.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Absolutely! She's free to read his lies too. They're so bad anyway unless he actually believes them himself.

Rei would probably be able to sense the corrupted magic and general-icki-ness! She may not be able to ping down what, exactly, it is -- but she'll be able to feel something is off there. :)

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Kind of, but since she's light-aligned, it might not be too relevant.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Totally fine! Use whatever you'd like.

1) Is your character a spirit? As you well know, Alphonse is a soul bound to a suit of armor. I'm not sure if that counts. Jennifer, Simon and Castle are all 100% normal human beings.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? No for all 4.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Yes to all four!

Coil feels so gross. It's true.

1) Is your character a spirit? whoops probably should have filled this out before tagging you... but ehhhHHHHH shh shh waves hands, ANYWAY, as you know cas is an angel who got his mojo sucked out. there's still some kicking around in there, enough that he's able to sense weird shit but not do anything useful really, so do with it what you will! i leave it in your capable hands.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? well he definitely doesn't have massive amounts of energy anymore, and what he has definitely isn't dark, so i would say... nnnnooo?

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? absolutely! go wild, do whatever you like, truly, i'm easy. have fun with it!

I just wanted to say that this description was awesome HAHAHA and Rei would probably feel like as a total red alert if he feels like death. YAY AWKWARD CR.

1) Is your character a spirit? Nah

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? She doesn't have a spiritual sense or any kind of magic, but Riona does carry the taint in her blood. It's not made entirely clear in canon just what the taint IS but it is dark and can be sensed by others that are tainted. Your call whether or not Rei could pick up on that.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? Totally!

1) Is your character a spirit? Yes, absolutely! Dezel is a seraph, so he can't be seen by people who don't have senses. Fun times.

2) Does your character have a high spiritual sense? Yep. Seraphim can extend 'blessings' to areas and people, which is like leaving their personal signature and keeping it pure of malevolence/bad energy. This is important because Dezel's power is so strong it actually has the opposite effect, and can bring misfortune if he isn't careful (i.e. even if he's like 'that guy is kind of a jerk' BAM SUDDENLY THAT GUY A MONSTER, GOOD FUCKING JOB.) In-game, his blessing only really extends to Sorey (who has his own domain), and the SS Golden since he's living there.

3) Are you comfortable with Rei getting a read on your character should they meet in person? You can read whatever you want! Here are some things of note: Dezel has a lot of guilt over his power and a lot of self-loathing/hatred, but plot macguffin means he's pure of spirit. He's a wind elemental, and he's also blind. In order to see he 'reads the wind', which means things get touched by drafts even in closed spaces so he can tell what's going on.
