As much as she'd love to see Lucifer be trapped in the Inner City -- and Raphael too, by this point -- she doesn't want to see Anna, Gabriel, and Castiel suffer the same fate. Or Michael, Rei admits grudgingly to herself, even if he was a moron.

But Rei averts her eyes, to think, before she answers his question fully.]

[He is. He's a great deal weaker right now, even. Getting creative to overcome a problem is what he does best. He tilts his head slightly when she begins speaking again, listening carefully. He feels something he's pretty sure is sympathy, though he rarely feels it, as he wishes she hadn't had to go through something that had obviously bothered her so much.
