82 [Accidental Video]

[There's a soft 'thump' and a spray of white as Rei drops backwards into the snow, her PCD falling at an odd angle. The contrast between Rei's dark hair and the white snow is pretty startingly, enough so that you can actually see it in the dark that is the Adstringendum night. She has on a coat, and a red scarf, and you can see her breath, just faintly, forming in the air, as she stares at the stars.

It's been a long week. Sometimes, all you need is a few minutes just to relax.]

The scene'll be worth it, but go easy on him, hm? Adjusting to being human still isn't very easy for him.

I won't do anything bad. And part of being human is playing around with friends anyway. He should get used to it. [Usagi, still trying to keep it light.]

I want to, but sometimes I think we think very differently. [It doesn't, of course, mean they can't be friendly; just that she isn't sure she quite gets how he works.]

No -- he thinks the same as every other person in the city. Things make him happy, and sad, and angry, and he feels pain, and sadness, and loneliness, and love, and joy, and loyalty just like everyone else. His biggest problem is people assuming he means one thing when he doesn't at all. Most people don't take the time or energy to figure out what he's trying to say or how he feels because people make assumptions about him based off of his reactions. Just because he doesn't laugh or cry doesn't mean he's not capable of it without showing it.

[She's not accusing Usagi of anything -- just talking, really. It's a common problem, she's discovered, in talking about Castiel with other people. The angel is largely misunderstood by the majority of people who talk to him.]

A lot of people either write him off as heartless or assume he's stupid because he asks questions.

[And Rei shrugs into the snow.]

Their loss, my gain. Or, well -- all of his friends, really.

I understand that. [She is, after all, the girl who saw the normal girl in the 'only-studies genius' Ami, the kind-hearted girl in the 'cold witch' Rei, the feminine girl in the 'delinquent' Mako. It's just that it's harder to relate to someone who keeps so much inside, for the girl who wears her heart on her sleeve.]

I'm glad I know him. And that he's here with us.
