82 [Accidental Video]

[There's a soft 'thump' and a spray of white as Rei drops backwards into the snow, her PCD falling at an odd angle. The contrast between Rei's dark hair and the white snow is pretty startingly, enough so that you can actually see it in the dark that is the Adstringendum night. She has on a coat, and a red scarf, and you can see her breath, just faintly, forming in the air, as she stares at the stars.

It's been a long week. Sometimes, all you need is a few minutes just to relax.]

[There's a blink, at the voice, but Rei figures out what happened quickly enough, and speaks without looking over. Resting her cheek in the snow is a bit much.]

[Miroku sighs as he wanders through the night. Usually he sleeps well through the night, but his ribs and thoughts made it hard for him this night. He wanders through Adstringendum. He wanders past the silent woman in the snow, before something catches his attention. He stops and looks at what appears to be a woman laying in the snow. He cautiously approaches her.]

Excuse me, are you well?

[Rei blinks at the voice and pushes herself up to sitting, snow clinging to her hair. -- oh, it's the monk. Miroku, right? Right.]

I'm fine. Just looking at the stars.

[This is Violet, having the living daylights scared out of her by running into her unexpectedly in the dark.]

[Rei immediately bolts upright to sitting at the sudden noise, but she exhales abruptly at realizing that it's just Violet.]

Violet -- hey.

[Guess who's thinking this is a good idea? Usagi follows Rei as soon as she sees the video. Once she's outside, she flops into the snow, blond hair next to ebony, and takes a deep breath as she smiles up at the stars.

But a moment later, uncharacteristically serious, she turns to her companion.]

Rei-chan? I wanted to talk to you. About something that happened when everyone switched bodies.

[She doesn't move when Usagi drops down next to her, completely and utterly relaxed, but she does glance over questioningly at the girl at her question.]

[If Rei is paying attention, she might notice (or even sense) the tip of Spike's cigarette as he wanders this way. He can see better in the dark than a human can and he's a bit further off than a human would need to be when he stops.]

[She doesn't notice -- but she does sit up abruptly at the voice, staring, the snow clinging to her hair.]

[Several steps softly grow closer, and stop an arm's length away from Rei's face. Ami is bundled up as best as she could, her legs covered with flannel pajama pants, a plushly-insulated coat buttoned and knotted around her top, and two scarves, twisted together, wrapped around her neck.]

Rei-chan.

[The blue-haired girl's legs seemed to sprout out of the over-sized boots they had found for trekking through the snow. They were awkward to walk in, but they kept her feet warm. Ami had her hands shoved deep into her coat pockets, her head peeking out from behind the scarves like a turtle mid-retreat.]

Rei-chan, you must be tired. [It was stated more as a question, but Ami's deep blue eyes regarded Rei with concern as she looked down to the ebony-tressed star-gazer.]

[Rei tilts her head back to look up at Ami, almost laughing at how bundled up she is.]

I'm fine -- I just can't sleep tonight, that's all.
