8 [Accidental Video Post]

[Mars is standing in view of the PCD, one palm held in front of her, the other hand clenching two talismans. In front of the sailor senshi is a large gargoyle, animated for movement. It’s shoving itself closer to her, teeth gnashing together, claws flashing forward to slash her into ribbons , but Mars only exhales deeply. She doesn’t look bothered at all.]

Rin, Pyou, Tou, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen... Akuryou Taisan!

[She flings a talisman towards the gargoyle and it freezes in place, its movement abruptly stopped. It appears that whatever spell Merlin put on them has now left and the gargoyle is regular stone once more, but Mars doesn’t appear to be done with it just yet. She presses the final talisman to her lips, murmuring a charm against the thin white paper, before tossing it towards the gargoyle. She immediately brings her arms up, intertwining her fingers and pointing at the talisman, as if aiming a gun.]

Fire Soul Bird!

[A burst of flames engulfs the talisman, creating a massive phoenix that rockets towards the gargoyle. It slams into the stomach of the gargoyle, shattering it. Rock pieces fly in different directions and Mars throws up an arm over her eyes to shield herself from the debris.

The PCD turns off immediately after.]

[No hiding it. There were no words, but Hitsugaya looked utterly concerned whether she was winning or not, probably not even realizing the PCD was recording him. It was a rather large turn around from how he'd acted the day before.

Sasuke's issues with loss? He'd been soaking them up all day long.]

[It would be a good ten or fifteen minutes before she picks up the PCD again and while she was completely ready to defend herself from Hitsugaya's onslaught of snippy comments, the look on his face almost makes her feel... bad.]

[His breath almost caught in his throat, but he kept his voice steady. He was Hitsugaya Toushirou, dammit.]

Of course I'm alright.

[She sounds distracted, glancing over her shoulder to ensure that no other gargoyles had been animated, but she looks relatively unscathed. A scratch or two, a bruise, but more or less unharmed.

All in all, she mostly looks annoyed with the entire situation.]

[A pause before she sighs. Of course. He's affected. Arguing with him was only going to make the situation worse. Her tone switches from defensive to light-hearted.]

Hey, I can take care of myself. You said you weren't going to pick up my body, right?

[A sigh. If she still had it in her to switch pace so abruptly, then she was fine. He didn't bother to insist that she didn't have to pretend for him, protecting him like some kid. He could tell she was, but this wasn't the time or place.]

[A snort. Kind of like how he tried to end all of their conversations. He had to keep up appearances after all. He was a "big scary shout-y captain."]

[Except he's not speaking to an idiot and he still looks way too anxious for her liking. She is quiet for a moment as she makes her way back, away from the manor. A pause and her clothes fade away to be replaced by her normal priestess outfit.

[Frowny face. Didn't she have something else to do? Also, he totally looked away as her clothes changed; it didn't matter whether anything showed or not.]

[The captives have been rescued and she promised not to do anything by herself... so, her job is done. She'll tease about the clothes thing another day.

... I went to the manor where Merlin is holding everyone to make sure everything was okay and it attacked me. I think it was a gargoyle that he animated using magic or something. It wasn't alive.
