Six full days.

[Six days since their powers left. Six days since Rei has felt aura. Six days since Rei has lost the powerful inner senshi within her. Six days since she let that stupid candle burn her.

Six days since Rei has wanted to go to the Inner City and take her abilities back.

Only one more day until Rei knows whether or not this is a normal event or whether or not it is, truly, a punishment.

You can call her on it if you want. Whether or not she'll be extraordinarily talkative is entirely up to you. But she isn't quite done yet.]

[Not that she wants the Apocalypse. She's angry and furious and scared and is lashing out at the closest and easiest target, which happens to be Lucifer. She knows it's stupid and she knows it's ultimately fruitless, but she needs some form of outlet.

My little brother is more like me than I ever thought he could be. And what must really bother you is, we share what you would deem 'good' traits as well as the more...questionable ones.

[She is silent, for a moment.]

He hasn't made those mistakes yet. He'll make the right decisions in this world. He won't. I refuse to let him turn into that. Or into you.

You can't stop what's already happened. Those choices will affect him for the rest of Time.

[He sighs, and there's a slight movement of the screen. It doesn't show anything, though--it's still resting on his chest.] How arrogant you are, to think you can save him from himself. From the Truth.

He will defeat this. Nothing you say or do to him will change that.

Unless you want to bow to a new God in your future, you'll step aside.

He's not going to do that by listening to whatever you have to say.

And besides, if he won't listen to me, that is why I told you to stay close to him. We're all grateful for that.

[She stiffens suddenly, at the statement, and Rei looks livid. But her tone remains low, cold, and completely immovable.]

Well that depends. Do you want me to send you Negi's eyes or would you prefer Raven's spleen?

If you touch anyone I care about, I will have half of this city ready to tear you apart and feed you to the Animus.
