74 [Voice]
[There's a silence, for a long moment -- before Rei finally works up the nerve to say something. She sounds tired.]
It's getting a lot harder to keep believing everything has a purpose in this place.
[There's a long rush of air as Rei exhales.]
It's almost as if the Animus don't want us here -- but if that's true, then why have I been here for over a year? Why have some people been here longer? What makes some of us different?
-- if anyone's got any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
[The only people Rei would need to tell, about Haruka vanishing, would be the senshi themselves. And the senshi, being the senshi, already know. So why repeat something painful?

[It's -- a comforting and warm thought, to her, that he considers the place and the people within it home.]

Everyone loses something here, when the Animus bring you back to life. It could be an ability -- a sense -- or memories.

[Jinx pauses for a good, long moment, pondering that]
What did he lose?

[Because she totally stalked those conversations like a creep.]
I'm pretty sure he still has whatever abilities left over -- and we'd hear about it if his Grace got destroyed.

[Jinx really sucks at trying to cheer people up.]

That'd be a shame. He actually made me laugh two weeks ago.
[She isn't sure whether or not it was on purpose.]

It really sucks eating alone.

[Why are we having this? Where did you find it? How is it made? Did you have this in your world? Why are you adding salt to fish? What does this do? How do you determine when it's done? Why are you eating it raw? Is that not dangerous?

[She has no actual siblings, after all, and dinner is usually just her, Yuuichirou, and her grandfather.]

If the team knew I actually missed their ugly faces, I'd never hear the end of it.
